Wedding Travel Guide
Thank you so much for coming to our wedding! It really means THE WORLD to us and to try to return the favor, we want to help you as much as possible to make your travel to our wedding as easy and pain-free as possible.
Accommodation & Transport
Please, shoot Rebeca a message on Whatsapp to book your hotel.
The bride and groom will be at the event hotel (Hotel Dorados) from Friday, February 21 to Monday, February 24 and, if possible, we would love for you to join us for as long as you can. Sunday is when you can take advantage of the hotel facilities and we can organize fun activities together!
You arrived at Mexico City’s Airport.
Now what?
Please take into consideration that you CAN’T request an Uber from Mexico City’s airport, as it’s against the law. We also don’t recommend taking a taxi from the airport’s streets. To go anywhere from the airport, you need to book any of the”official” taxis from inside the airport (pictured) to your hotel in Mexico City, or to “Taxqueña Bus Central” (Estación de Autobuses de Taxqueña) if you are staying at the hotel from the wedding in Oaxtepec.
After leaving the airport, it’s safe to use Uber anywhere else on the city!
Taxqueña Bus Central
To go from Mexico City to Oaxtepec, you will need to take a short 1-hour bus ride from “Taxqueña Bus Central”. From there, buses leave from Mexico City to Oaxtepec every hour, all day.
Buy your tickets to Oaxtepec
We recommend buying the tickets at “ADO OCC” (an acronym, pictured above) as they are cheap, safe, and the buses are clean and comfortable.
You can buy them at the Bus Central or online (pictured) at their website. Please remember that the tickets bought online in advance will be a bit cheaper than buying them in person at the station.
Places near Oaxtepec to go for tourism
Tepoztlan. Considered a “Magic Town” and you can hike and go up the Tepozteco. 25 min by car.
Santo Domingo Cultural Museum. 25 min walk.
Former Convent of San Juan Bautista. 30 min by car. Famous dish to try: Cecina (meat that has been salted and dried by means of air, sun or smoke)
